Many years ago one of the happiest couples met, married, pursued careers in education, raised two great children, moved to a beautiful town in Southern Oregon and had "A Wonderful Life."Traveling was always a part of our lives and twice we went on "vacation" to Hawaii. Both times we had about 100 high school band members tagging along, some vacation, huh?
Well we are now retired and going back to paradise for our fortieth anniversary. This blog is mostly for us, Mike and Karen, because our memories aren't what they used to be. Any of you that stumble upon this travel log of Maui and Kauai please know that you are cordially invited to enjoy the travels along with us. And who knows, maybe it will be of benefit to someone planning a trip to Hawaii.

I don't know which Kris commented above, but the two that I know should know that you will have way more than one mai tai (or any other umbrella drink for that matter) for them!
